Eight months ago – I was in one of the best shapes I have ever been in.  Health, fitness, etc. were top notch and my doctor would have been proud.  How did I do that?  I walked … I walked for hours a day – seriously.  Two to three – sometimes even four hours – daily.  My average walk was between six to eight miles, done in about 2.5 hours.  Every now and then I would walk twice a day.  My walks took me to places I wrote about on Walkation.com

And then I got a phone call.  Being as TarponRiverWatch.com is one of my babies …

Lorri Helfand Staff Writer for the St. Pete Times … called me early April 2009 and asked if I knew of a certain person and why yes I did – she told me he threatened to kill a board member if the case he pursued for many years did not go his way.  This caused me alarm – and I became more vigilant, but I continued to walk.

Then Lorri called me to see  if I had seen the Inside Edition segment this same man went on.  I had not seen it, but I read this article online and I also read Lorri’s piece she followed up with.  After this time I was able to view the piece Inside Edition did – and I was terrified.  I am terrified … A terrorist lives in my neighborhood.

My neighborhood is a wonderful community filled with friendly people, beautiful homes, in a lovely setting (gosh I am waxing poetic) and we have a terrorist among us.  Who needs to go half way around the world to fight terrorism, when it is in our own communities.  And then Lorri did another follow up to her original story.  And still the story waits for more follow up.

So – what does any of this have to do with a treadmill desk and blogging.  A LOT – In the past eight months I have gained over 30 pounds, all because I stopped walking … the last time I walked a large man was walking toward me – the sun was behind him … I almost pooped my drawers … seriously … I have not walked since.

Yesterday I began using my treadmill desk – I will get video uploaded soon   Yesterday’s working walk was 95 minutes at 2.5 mph – zero incline.

Today I am doing 2.5 mph at a 3.5 incline.  I am currently at 48 minutes and counting for the day.  Goals for today’s working walkation include Farmville – keep it moving along and get it decorated for the holidays.  So far, so good.  Write AND POST three blogs.  This one.  GoalBuzz and one other one that I have been sadly neglecting.  Probably Walkation.com  Gosh I miss that blog.  Or is it the activity that goes along with it?  The walking.

Ok – I am beginning to slack – so will post this and continue.

With this blog posting I am announcing I am aware we all have choice no matter the economy or domain name used, with a good GoalBuzz and a quickrant on twitter, our thoughts begin to create new partnerships for thankful YES we CAN!!!  Win – win – win’s

I have taken the liberty of copying Joe Biden’s e-mail about the fight and using it as if he is my Guest Blogger today. The lobbyists have billions of dollars backing their agenda.  We have us. The ads we see are not from those who have our best interest at heart.  The ads we see are from those who want the way it’s always been to be the way it will always be … I don’t know if you have noticed – BUT – things are changing.  Let’s make them good changes.

If you can not afford to donate money (what is money – paper we say is worth something) donate your TIME and resources to help spreading the word.  In my opinion this is so very much more important than 5, 10, 50 dollars.

Help spread the word that the lobbyists and the ads side for the insurance company who want to remain in control.  Tweet this, FaceBook it, MySpace It, GET THE WORD OUT … WE do make a difference.

Think of this – even the BEST insurance around is subject to no money – no insurance, lost your job?  Is it tied to insurance?  Got a disease or have a bad accident – you ARE at the mercy of the insurance company in which you have placed your faith and the premiums you have paid (how ever they have been paid).

Brainwave Entrainments refers to the brains electrical response to rhythmic sensory stimulation, be it pulses of light or sounds. The electrical responses travel through-out the brain and these become what we see and hear. After several minutes (from what I am reading it is a MINIMUM of six minutes) of listening to the beat, the brain begins to synchronize with the sound. This synchronization is commonly referred to as the Frequency Follow Response (FFR).

Brainwaves and the mental state are extremely connected (example a 4Hz brainwave is associated with sleep, listening to 4Hz sound patterns would therefore assist in reproducing the sleep state in the brain).

By using Brainwave Entrainment sounds one can apply the same concept to nearly ALL mental states, be it creativity to focus to meditation to lucid dreaming to even weight-loss.

I Read an article this morning at http://www.wausaudailyherald.com/article/20090201/WDH06/902010324 Called: Too good to be true: Woman falls prey to scam, loses thousands.

The woman went public with her story to assist others who may be approached with something similar. She went public expecting to be ridiculed for her actions in this scam that caused her to lose thousands of dollars. In the responses the article has received so far … yes – she is being ridiculed – but then – what DID she expect?

I tried to leave a comment – but I had to register to comment and the odds I will ever go back to that site … well … let’s just say I have PAGES and pages and PAGES of registration user names and passwords … YIKES … I gotta get to work … sometime J Suffice it to say – I did not leave a comment …

I will BLOG instead

YAY!!!

I think I will write me blogs in word and then paste them into the websites they belong to. Funnel man – funnel … ever wonder FUNnel – but then that brings us to FUNereal … and not to be morbid – but for the dead person – they MAY be having FUN and now know it is eReal !!! We won’t know until it is our turn … BUT that is NOT what this blog is about.

THIS blog is about expectations – If it is too good to be true – AND Free Lunches.

I don’t know how others are feeling about this wind of change we have finally been given, but I feel the change as a promised Spring Shower after a long and harrowing drought. The drought has been broken and now we must tend our fields and prepare the seeds.

I feel this change as not a respite from the pain and suffering and scams of our Fathers and their fathers and theirs, back to the days when we traced our lineage through our mothers. I feel this change of a kind that warms my heart. I have long been accused of wearing my heart on my sleeve … I do not know why it seems so shameful – as I AM Guilty as Charged – But I embrace that charge now. My heart is right where it belongs – visible and available to all.

This wind of change brings with it a paradigm of shift. Not a shift of paradigm – which is the changing of some assumptions – *If it is too good to be true* and *there are no free lunches* are examples – if suddenly there were, and there WILL be … let’s look at some basic definitions:

Paradigm – A set of assumptions, concepts, values, and practices that constitutes a way of viewing reality for the community that shares them, especially in an intellectual discipline.

Shift – a qualitative change or transformation

A paradigm shift – When a set of assumptions, concepts, values and practices in which one views reality changes for the majority of people.

A Paradigm of Shift is (in my truth – and my truth is my reality ) when things like the 100^th monkey (and thus the 100^th Human) occur … we are on the precipice of a Paradigm of Shift … those who believe in the Rapture and the End of the World … yes, it is my belief they are preparing to happen.

Not that people are suddenly going to be sucked from their vehicles or wiped from the streets – but a Paradigm of Shift where our consciousness will not allow us to continue on as we have been (raping and pillaging whatever we can get our hands on to tear down and destroy) but to see reality through the lens of others.

We will seek to build rather than destroy. To build friendships and partnerships instead of plotting how to kill ones enemies, as *enemy* becomes a word no longer used as there is no meaning to it.

I believe we as a race (human that is) ARE becoming more empathic (able to feel through others experiences) and thus we can learn from the mistakes of others.

We are putting ourselves out there more, no matter the consequence – as leaders take their places and say – I’ll Go First.

The year 2012 is less than three years from today. It is my belief that as Paradigms continue to shift faster and faster for more groups of people … and the number of people who know *The Secret* grows, the frequency in which we tune our attraction to; we are pulling to us at an ever quickening rate our Paradigm of Shift.

I do not know what will happen during the year 2012. I do not know what will happen starting December 12, 2012. I do not know what will happen in the nine days between 12/12/12 and 12/21/12 – but I DO know – we have the opportunity to create a massive, awesome, most excellent of change … that of one of Peace, Love, Prosperity (for all).

Uh yea – Kum-by-ya and all that – so what – laugh if you want, point fingers if you need to, but sign on for the journey – even if it is just to have jokes for the late night show …
